18CrNiMo7-6 / 1.6587 is a case-hardening steel that offers both high strength and toughness after carburizing. It is used for highly stressed components such as large gear parts for wind turbines or in shipbuilding.
- Heat treatment: annealed (+A/+FP/+TH) or tempered (+QT)
- Available immediately: rd. 18 to 800 mm
- Available according to specifications from RENK (ZAN 17901) and ZF Friedrichshafen (ZF1A)
