42CrMo4

In its “standard version,” 42CrMo4 / 1.7225 is a versatile mass-produced steel. However, for highly stressed and safety-relevant components, such as those used in shipbuilding, the “premium version” from German steel mills must be used.

• Heat treatment: tempered (+QT) or annealed (+A)
• Available immediately:
  • rd. 16 to 1.000 mm
  • flat/round 20×20 to 350×350 mm
• Bar lengths: up to 10 m
• Available according to specifications from RENK (ZAN 17905) and ZF Friedrichshafen
